Pipes
Hepworth Watermain pipes are exclusively available in the full range of nominal diameters from -3/8" for household supply pipe to nominal diameter 24" trunk main. Nominal working pressure classes of 9, 12 and 15 Bar are available in combinations of size/class as indicated in the product availability matrix. Our pipe is manufactured to B.S. 3505: 1986 (Kitemark Licence number 3820).
Hepworth Watermain pipes have excellent chemical resistance properties which render them suitable for use with aggressive liquids on in corrosive environmental conditions.

Hepworth Waterman offers a choice of jointing methods to suit the particular needs of a Specifying Engineer, Purchasing Officer and Contractor.
Integral joints of the mechanical or solvent weld type are available, as are mechanical couplings for use with plain ended pipe.
Formed Bends
The Hepworth Watermain range of thermoformed bends is manufactured in PVC-U and benefits from the many qualities of this unique material.
They offer the Design Engineer the means of overcoming the topographical and man-made obstructions simply and efficiently whilst maintaining the pipeline integrity offered by the use of PVC-U.
The versatility of PVC-U as a material for pipes and fittings is clearly demonstrated in the Hepworth Watermain range of moduled PVC-U fittings. Available in nominal diameters 3/8" to 8" and suitable for use at nominal working pressures up to 15 Bar, the fittings provide the means to install total PVC-U systems for numerous type of applications.
The Hepworth Watermain range of metal fittings is specifically designed to compliment our range of PVC-U pipes, particularly in the larger nominal diameter range.
The corrosion resistant properties of the pipeline are maintained by the provision of an external and internal protective coating to the fittings offering the same resistance as the PVC-U pipes.
